Check the App Store product page for the price, system requirements, and universal purchase eligibility.
Store availability and Apple ID region
Your account’s country or region determines what appears in the store. Your device language and physical location do not change this setting.
This app is not available on the mainland China storefront. If you can’t find Shadowrocket, first check the country or region associated with your Apple ID rather than repeatedly changing your search terms. Even if the button on this page opens the U.S. product page, your ability to purchase depends on the account used for Media & Purchases on your device, its associated storefront, and the app’s current availability. Seeing the app details on a webpage does not mean your account is eligible to buy it.
On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region to check the storefront associated with your account. Menu labels may vary slightly by system version; follow what your device displays. To find the region-change option, open Change Country or Region on that page. Before submitting a change, review Apple’s requirements and prompts. Your balance, subscriptions, payment details, and other factors may affect whether the change can be completed. This manual cannot guarantee that any particular account will be able to change its region.
Also distinguish your device’s signed-in account from your purchasing account. The Apple ID used for device syncing may not be the account currently used by the App Store for purchases. Check the account shown under Media & Purchases and on the App Store account page. If the product page says the app isn’t available in your current store, recheck the account region. Changing your device language, time zone, or displayed region won’t change purchase eligibility.
After checking the region, open the store link at the top of this page and confirm the app name, developer, and price. If Apple shows a payment or account prompt, read it carefully and follow the account steps provided. If payment has gone through but the download is still pending, check your purchase history and download progress before attempting the same purchase again.
Developer, app ID, and official icon
All three details should match on the same App Store product page. Use the checklist below to verify them manually; it is not an automated check.
- Developer
- Shadow Launch Technology Limited
- App ID
- 932747118The product page URL contains id932747118
- Official icon
- Rocket with a blue-violet outline on a white backgroundCheck the icon currently shown on the App Store
Check that the developer name appears in full as Shadow Launch Technology Limited on the product page. Don’t rely only on a similar-looking app title, keywords in the description, or its position in search results. Search may show apps with the same or similar names. A name resembling Shadowrocket doesn’t prove it’s the same product; verify the developer field too.
Next, check the app ID. The full product URL linked on this page ends in id932747118; the number is the app ID. If you’re viewing the page in a browser, check the address bar. If it has opened in the App Store, use the product page’s share option to view the link. The shared link may include additional details, but the key identifier is this fixed number. Don’t use the price, storefront language, or app name as a substitute.
Finally, check the official icon: a rocket with a blue-violet outline on a white background, matching the official icon in this site’s header. The icon can help you identify the app, but shouldn’t be your only basis for a purchase; similar-looking designs can be confusing. Check the developer, app ID, and icon together. If any detail clearly doesn’t match, don’t pay. Return to the product page linked on this page and verify it again.
Price and ratings don’t establish that an app is genuine. Store prices vary by storefront currency and can change, and ratings aren’t a reliable substitute for identifying details. Use the same product page and Apple’s payment confirmation screen when purchasing. Even after completing this checklist, read the amount, purchasing account, and device compatibility details yourself. Static information on this page cannot confirm your account’s current status.
Buying and opening Shadowrocket on iPhone
After opening the App Store product page on your iPhone, check the compatibility section. System requirements are as listed on the App Store product page. If it says your device isn’t compatible, check the requirements shown there rather than relying on whether the app installed on another device. Make sure you have enough storage and that the App Store can connect. Compatibility, purchase eligibility, and network access are separate checks; verify each one.
For your first purchase, tap the price shown in the store and complete Apple’s system confirmation steps. If the account has a purchase history, the page may show a cloud icon or an Open button. Don’t assume from the button alone whether you need to pay again. First check which account is signed in under Media & Purchases, then review your purchase history. Keep the network connection stable while the app downloads. When the download finishes, open Shadowrocket from your Home Screen or the App Store.
Installing the app doesn’t provide the service details needed to connect. After opening it for the first time, check what’s in Home, then prepare your existing subscription or server details. When adding them with Add Server or Subscribe, use the information you already have. Don’t enter purchase receipts, your Apple ID password, or payment details in server fields. App purchases belong to your store account; server details belong to your connection configuration.
The first time you try to connect, the system may ask for permission to add a VPN configuration. This lets the app create the relevant network configuration; it isn’t another purchase. Confirm that the prompt was triggered by Shadowrocket, which you just opened, then follow the system’s authorization steps. If you haven’t prepared your connection details, you can cancel and try again after checking them. You don’t need to turn on the main switch as soon as installation finishes.
Before connecting, check the current Global Routing selection. Config, Proxy, and Direct handle requests in different ways. You don’t need to change advanced options while buying or installing the app. First import your existing details correctly, then verify them one by one. For step-by-step setup, see the Getting Started guide. This can help you avoid changing several settings at once and losing track of what caused a problem.
Installing on iPad and using other Apple devices
You can use the same Apple ID purchase history to install Shadowrocket on iPhone and iPad; you don’t need to create another purchase for a second compatible device. First check that the original purchasing account is signed in under Media & Purchases on your iPad, then look for the app in the App Store account or Purchased section. System requirements and universal purchase eligibility are as listed on the App Store product page. If a price still appears, check your account and purchase history before paying again.
The iPad’s larger screen may arrange lists, details, and navigation differently from the iPhone. When following this manual, look for labels such as Home, Config, Settings, Add Server, and Subscribe rather than relying on a button’s exact screen position. Layout may also change between portrait and landscape orientation or with window size, but the order for entering server details and checking the current connection selection remains the same.
Manage app purchase eligibility separately from connection settings on each device. Even if both devices use the same purchasing account, don’t assume that server lists, current selections, rules, and authorization status have all synced. After installation, check what’s actually on this device, then import your own subscription or server details. If entries are already present, check them first to avoid duplicates with similar names that could lead you to select the wrong one.
The compatibility section on the same App Store product page also lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. To use Shadowrocket on one of these devices, check the same product page on that device and confirm compatibility and whether your purchase applies. System requirements, device compatibility, and universal purchase eligibility are as listed on the App Store product page. A successful installation on iPhone doesn’t mean every Apple device is eligible.
The App Store is still the place to get the app for other Apple devices. This page focuses on purchasing and restoring on iPhone and iPad. If the store or steps look different on another device, check the compatibility information in its App Store prompt, then confirm the item names in the app itself. Changing existing subscription details won’t resolve a store compatibility issue.
New device, reinstall, and restoring purchases
When changing devices or reinstalling, recover access to the original purchasing account before restoring your app configuration. Open App Store → Account → Purchased, search for Shadowrocket in the list, and verify the developer details before downloading it again. Depending on your system, the list may appear under Apps or a similarly named section; follow what the page shows. If the app is still available for your account and device, restoring it with the original purchasing Apple ID usually doesn’t require another payment.
If the app doesn’t appear in the list, first check that the App Store is signed in with the same purchasing account used for the original payment. Then check your purchase history, search for the full app name, and look for hidden purchases. A change in account region or storefront availability may also affect finding and restoring the app. Follow the App Store prompts and check each item rather than assuming the original purchase is invalid just because the app isn’t in your search results.
If the product page shows a price again, don’t pay a second time straight away. First check the original account’s purchase history and receipt to confirm the transaction went through, then check the current storefront. If the transaction succeeded but the restore option still isn’t working, use the account and purchase support options provided by Apple on your device. Avoid repeatedly deleting the app while troubleshooting store issues; unsaved local configuration may be lost when you delete it.
Restoring Shadowrocket doesn’t restore your subscriptions, servers, rules, or connection status. If you have a backup, import it using the method supported by the current app. Otherwise, you’ll need to prepare your own subscription link or server details again. After importing, check the address, port, protocol, and other required fields one by one. Then check Global Routing and the selected server before testing the connection.
Before changing devices, organize any details that are still valid and note the configuration options you changed. Keep your existing subscription or server information safe; it may contain access credentials and shouldn’t be posted publicly or sent to people who don’t need it. If you use Family Sharing, don’t assume other family members can use the purchase. Eligibility, scope, and account requirements depend on the App Store product page and the prompts shown in your Family Sharing settings.
One-time app purchase vs. connection service
Shadowrocket is a paid commercial app sold as a one-time purchase, with no monthly app usage fee. The U.S. reference price is $2.99; prices are shown in each storefront’s local currency, and the actual price and final charge are as listed on the App Store product page. Review Apple’s confirmation screen before paying. This reference price may not apply to every storefront.
A one-time app purchase is not a connection plan. Paying once for the app covers the app itself; it doesn’t automatically provide a usable subscription or server.
After buying the app, you’ll still need your own subscription or server details to configure a connection. Their validity, availability, and eligibility are managed by their original source and aren’t changed by an App Store payment. If the app opens but has no server entries, its configuration probably isn’t complete; that doesn’t mean the purchase failed.
This is the Shadowrocket website and official manual. It does not provide, sell, or recommend any servers or subscriptions. This site explains how to verify the genuine App Store app, purchase the client, and use your existing details in Shadowrocket. If a subscription has expired or server details are missing, check the information you already have. Buying the app again won’t fix configuration or service issues.
The App Store manages routine updates. You can use automatic updates in your device settings or check for updates in the App Store. Save important configuration details before updating, and read the update notes shown in the store. This manual doesn’t list specific app versions or release dates, so information from a particular point in time isn’t mistaken for a lasting basis for purchase. The current product details are on the App Store page.
Handle payments, refunds, and billing through Apple’s purchase history and the relevant system options. Check connection issues in the app’s configuration and diagnostics. Troubleshoot the two separately: a successful payment doesn’t replace a connection test, and a failed connection doesn’t prove there’s a payment issue. First identify whether the problem is with the store, installation, importing details, or connecting, then follow the relevant instructions to avoid unnecessary repeat steps.
Common questions about finding, installing, and restoring the app
Use the prompts you see to identify the issue. Expand a question below for an answer; no extra steps are needed.
Why can’t I find Shadowrocket on the App Store?
This app is not available on the mainland China storefront. Your Apple ID’s country or region determines which apps you can see. First check your account under Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region, then open the App Store product page linked on this page. Your device language does not determine your storefront region.
The product page opens, but the app won’t download. What should I check first?
Check the exact App Store message, then verify the purchasing account, storefront availability, device compatibility, payment status, available storage, and network connection. System requirements are as listed on the App Store product page. If you’ve been charged, check your purchase history before trying again.
Do I need to buy Shadowrocket again when I get a new device?
If the app is still available for your account and device, sign in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase and download it again from App Store → Account → Purchased. You usually won’t have to pay again. If a price appears, check the purchasing account and purchase history. After restoring the app, you’ll need to import and check any existing subscription or server details separately.
Can I install Shadowrocket on my iPad if I bought it on iPhone?
You can use the same Apple ID purchase history to install Shadowrocket on iPhone and iPad. On your iPad, first confirm that Media & Purchases is signed in with the original purchasing account, then check compatibility and download it from Purchased. System requirements and universal purchase eligibility are as listed on the App Store product page.
Can I install Shadowrocket on Mac, Apple TV, or Apple Vision?
The compatibility section on the same App Store product page lists Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision. Check the product page on the device you want to use. System requirements, device compatibility, and universal purchase eligibility are as listed on the App Store product page. The App Store remains the only way to get the app.
The interface is in English. How do I follow the instructions?
This manual keeps interface labels such as Home, Add Server, Subscribe, Config, Global Routing, and Settings in English. In Home, check for existing servers, then choose Add Server or Subscribe according to the details you have. Under Global Routing, Config, Proxy, and Direct refer to configuration, proxy, and direct connections. The exact menu location may vary in the current app interface.
